SESSION 14: PROJECT REVIEW

This is my first time to view my peers’ work, and I have self-reflected that I was a bit left behind the track. Nevertheless, I was able to recognise my strengths and weaknesses. My peer Hinako mentioned that she found reading my magazine very interesting, and my work is very creative-direction-related. Also, she stated that my work focus on not only photos but also the meaning, layouts and styling, which I am very glad to hear and I was motivated. However, I didn’t keep up my quality with the quantity, which I was advised to work more on the magazine pages. To improve, I have viewed everyone’s work via myblog, for example for the first magazine research and analysis, I have only uploaded two photos and analysis, while many of my peers have done a lot. Therefore, I tried to keep back on track immediately and get my work done in a faster pace, e.g. I have written my annotation texts more in detail so the tutors will understand my creating process in a clearer way.
