SESSION 13: FRONT COVER

This task is developed from the first lesson about analysing two magazines, and I have to design three new covers for them respectively. Personally, I think the task wasn’t too challenging, as I have gained experiences of making magazines from my previous projects, and the fact that I have very nice photographs taken this time, I was very confident and excited to create amazing outcomes. Although I believed that it was not really difficult to duplicate the style for specific magazines, it was very hard to infuse my personal style into the cover making. Also, the choices of font style and size are relatively time-consuming, because it was a crucial element in the cover, and it affects the whole layout and visual experiences for the audience so much. Therefore, I have to really consider and adjust them for several times, in order to make a perfect synchronisation between the text and the image.
